CAPAC meets July 22nd in Greenville - NC State Auditor Les Merritt and Bob Hunter welcomed as guest speakers
North Carolina State Auditor Les Merritt and Appeals Court Candidate Bob Hunter will be the guest speakers at the monthly meeting of Conservatives, Arise! (CAPAC) on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Golden Corral, 504 SW Greenville Boulevard in Greenville. Dinner will begin at 6:30 followed by the meeting at 7:00. No reservations are required.
Les Merritt is seeking his second term as State Auditor. He was first elected in 2004 when he became the first Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in North Carolina to hold that position. He and his wife live in Zebulon where Les is a well-known and respected businessman and community leader. They are active members of the Zebulon Baptist Church.
Bob Hunter, an attorney from Greensboro, comes into the race for Appeals Court Judge with thirty-five years of experience in State and Federal Court. He states that “every person who comes before me will be treated the way I would want to be treated. It has been my experience that the Golden Rule is the moral basis of all law.”

CAPAC is a non-partisan political action committee that meets every fourth Tuesday to meet candidates and elected officials to discuss the issues of the day. The public is invited to attend.

CAPAC is a non-partisan PAC that meets every third Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Golden Corral in Greenville. The meetings are to inform and discuss current issues and are open to everyone regardless of party affiliation.
Our stated purpose is as follows: We are working to mobilize a group of aggressive conservatives who believe strongly in traditional Christian values and principles in politics. We want to re-establish a moral foundation in politics by supporting like-minded local and state candidates and current officials. |
