Biennial Precinct Meetings

Held in February or first 10 days of March. |
|
|
County Chairman sets the date, time and place, giving 10 days written notice to each Precinct Chairman and by notice in a newspaper of general circulation within the county. |
Purpose

|
Elect Precinct Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Members-at-Large for two year terms. |
|
|
Elect Delegates and Alternates to the County Convention. |
Biennial County Convention
|
|
Held in March at least 10 days prior to the scheduled District Conventions. |
|
|
County Chairman sets date, time, and place giving at least 10 days notice in a newspaper of general circulation within the county. |
Purpose
|
|
Elect the County Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Treasurer for two year terms. |
|
|
Elect County Executive Committee of five or more in addition to the County Officers. |
|
|
Elect Delegates and Alternates to Congressional District and State Conventions. |
|
|
Adopt a County Plan of Organization not inconsistent with the State Plan of Organization. |
Biennial Congressional District Conventions
Held in April. District Chairman sets the date, time, and place, giving 20 days written notice of the time and place to all Members of the District Committee and the County Chairmen within the District.

Elect District Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer for two-year terms. |

|
Adopt a Plan of Organization. |

|
Elect Members of the State Executive Committee |
Biennial State Convention
Held in May or the first two weeks of June of each year by the Chairman of the State Executive Committee giving 60 days written notice of the time and place for the meeting to all members of the State Executive Committee and to all County Chairman Delegates and Alternates elected at the County Conventions unless successfully challenged will sit as Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention.
